Hope everything fine with you andn family and pray for it. Regarding the first Qibla of Islam - Al-Aqsa Masjid, 99% of Muslims have wrong notion. Even the Arab world also are not aware of this.
When I received the attached message from Dr. Marwan (see below) about his findings, I cross checked it with my friend living in Jordan. (Please see his comment too)
We all until recently are under the impression that Aqsa Masjid is the one with yellow Qubba - ie. Dome of The Rock Mosque. Please educate our friends about the truth.

The attached picture is 100% correct,and there is difference between Masjid Al Aqsa and the Dome Of The Rock.
I lived in Jerusalem for two years, I know both Masjid Al Aqsa and the Dome Of The Rock ,in side of the both we can pray,and the distance between them about 200 Meters only.
