The flight to Pakistan was exhausting because I was very nauseated, Masha-Allah. My body tried to throw up a couple of times but there was nothing to throw up because I hadn't eaten anything.
At last we reached Lahore, Pakistan about three hours later, Alhamdulillah. Landing in Pakistan was an overwhelming experience for the first time ever. I have been to Pakistan many, many, many times, but this time I was very emotional and overwhelmed. I wanted to cry and cry and cry and never stop because I was so happy to be back. The trials in Saudi Arabia brought me to this reality. Many bad things happened on my journey that I have not mentioned because the Prophet (SAW) told us to say something good or keep silent. What I will say is that people are treated in different ways all over the world, but I didn't expect many things to happen in Saudi Arabia because it is the land of Islam. May Allah (SWT) guide the Muslims, Ameen.
Getting off the plane and going through immigration was fast and easy, Alhamdulillah. It took some time for all our luggage to be located, but finally we retreived our luggage and quickly passed through customs. I saw jugs and jugs of Zum Zum water. Bags and bags of huge mink blankets were retreived from the conveyor belt. These are big items for the Hajj pilgrim.
Ami and Pa (my husband's older brother) were waiting for our arrival. We were exhausted and I was still coughing my head off, Masha-Allah. The car ride home was a trial as well because of a flat tire, my coughing and the heat, Masha-Allah. Hafsah went to Daddi Ami (my husband's mother) and to Pa (my husband's brother), Masha-Allah. She wasn't scared of being around people anymore, Alhamdulillah. Hafsah is used to being around people now because of all the people she was around during Hajj, Masha-Allah.
Finally, we reached home. They told Abdullah that Ami and Abu were home and he said, "No they are at Hajj." When Abdullah saw us he was so happy, Masha-Allah!!! He came to me right away, hugged me and sat in my lap for the longest time. He nearly cried because he was so happy to see us. I wanted to cry also so see the happiness on his face that almost made him cry. My son was fine and they took good care of him, Masha-Allah. Abdullah didn't go to my husband because my husband was bald and had no hair. He didn't recognize my husband. He wasn't sure about Hafsah, his little sister, either. Hafsah wasn't sure about Abdullah either. She didn't really remember who Abdullah, her big brother, was. She was just like an only child for almost a month! She kind of enjoyed all the attention.
We sat downstairs for awhile as the luggage was unloaded and company was enjoyed. Finally, we went upstairs. I took a cold cold shower because of the heat and then I prayed Thuhr. I was so sleepy at Asr time that I collapsed as soon as Hafsah fell asleep. My husband fell asleep also and we all slept until Maghrib. After going downstairs for a little bit, we prayed Isha and then slept again.
We are staying in Pakistan until mid-April and then we will fly back to Michigan, Insha-Allah.
