Passing the Days

Today is Wednesday, March 14th.  We all slept until 11:00 am.  My husband is really sick now, Subhana-Allah.  We all slept most of the day, Astagh Ferrullah.  I remembered a Pizza Hut sign when we were on our mini tour of Medinah so I asked my husband to call Pizza Hut to see if they deliver.  They do deliver, but not to this location.

Today is Thursday, March 15th.  My husband is much better, Alhamdulillah.  My husband is praying every prayer in Masjid an-Nabawee (SAW).  Today when he left before Thuhr I asked him to bring me a pizza from Pizza Hut.  My mouth has been watering for a BEEF Pizza Hut pizza.  When we went on our mini-tour of Medinah the other day I saw a Hardees and a KFC near the Qiblatain masjid.  I also noticed a SIGN for Pizza Hut as well, this is what prompted my Pizza Hut craving.

I'm not if my husband is getting me a pizza, but I sure am praying that he.  I've had grilled chicken sandwiches and a lot of fruit on this trip and still looking for that lettuce for a salad.  Alhamdulillah, my husband returned shortly after Asr with a PIZZA HUT PIZZA!  It wasn't beef because he didn't trust the meat source, but Alhamdulillah it was a PIZZA!!!  He took a taxi to get the pizza, Masha-Allah.  Guess what else he ALSO brought with the pizza???  A SALAD!!!  YES A SALAD!!!  It was just like a salad you would make at a Pizza Hut restaurant from the salad bar in America!!!  Allahu Akbar!!!  A SALAD, LETTUCE!!!

Today is Friday, March 16th.  I either coughed all night or spent time aiding Hafsah back to sleep, Masha-Allah.  I feel like I am dying and my energy is gone.  I can't fight this illness anymore.  My husband rubbed my throat with oil and I am still coughing, Masha-Allah.  We will leave Medinah for Jeddah in two days, Insha-Allah.  I've been drinking cough medicine for almost a month now, Masha-Allah!

Today is Saturday, March 17th.  Insha-Allah today is the last day in Medinah.  Hafsah has been coughing all night and my cough is wearing me down as usual, Masha-Allah.  My husband went to the Saudi Airlines office today and got our boarding passes.  My husband was told that our passports will meet us at the airport, Insha-Allah.

Hafsah and I have been in the room sleeping most of the day as usual.  Our flight to Jeddah leaves at 11:00 am tomorrow morning, Insha-Allah.  We are anxious to leave to see Abdullah.  The main reason is because we have been sick most of the time and our money is running dry.  Because of my illness, I have not been able to enjoy Medinah.  Insha-Allah another time in my life I will explore Medinah.
