After stoning we went searching for our tent and our group. We walked and walked and walked for miles and miles and miles with no end in sight. After we walked up and down rows and rows and streets and streets in search for our tent, we FINALLY found our tent around 8:30-9:00 am, Alhamdulillah. We walked around all of Mina for about four hours, Subhana-Allah! I walked into the cool tent and crashed on the floor. Two of the other sisters were already crashed on the floor, Masha-Allah.
After sleeping for a bit I heard that the brothers were coming back from stoning shortly to make us WALK back to Makkah. "No Way!" two of us said. "We are NOT walking," we said. The brothers got mad and left anyway. Then my husband came to the tent. He was now bald, exhausted, and feeling sick from our four hour walk in search for the tent. My husband didn't go with the other brothers to Makkah, he stayed in Mina.
We slept good under the air shortly until Thuhr time. A man came in the tent and asked, "How many are in your group?" We mentioned how many and then around 2:00 pm we were preparing to make wudu and a huge group of women started entering the tent to take it over. They wanted us to leave because they claimed that it was "their tent". Where were they the first day of Mina? We were NOT leaving and demanded eight spots for all of us sisters who had been here since the first day of Mina.
After speaking with my husband and being firm with the brother who was in charge with these women, the mess got all sorted out , Alhamdulillah. Now after all this we find out we are now bunking with about 20 SHI'ITE WOMEN, Subhana-Allah!!! Subhana-Allah!!! Another test!
When the brothers returned from Makkah, they were HOT that the Shi'ite were in our tents! The Shi'ite were in the brothers tent also! Two of the brothers took their wives OUT of the tents. Two of us are forced to remain with the Shi'ite because there are no other tents to go to. I was told that the Shi'ite would be out after Fajr, Insha-Allah.
It's now 5:00 am and Fajr will be in soon, Insha-Allah. I have been awake all night watching over the sisters because we have Shi'ite in the same tent. I have also been awake with Hafsah taking her to the Medical Clinic. Hafsah has had a very high fever (102 F) since yesterday and it won't break. The clinic gave her a cold sponge bath and medicines for dehydration.
Around 9:00-10:00 am we took Hafsah back to the clinic with still a high fever. This time they gave her an IV, a cold bath and wanted to send her to the local hospital for dehydration. After 2 Saline bottles she was feeling much better, Alhamdulillah. She is eating and drinking oral salt dehydration. The brothers left to stone at the Jamarats. This is the 3rd day in Mina and the 2nd Mina day after Arafah. It's now 3:00 pm and the Shi'ite are still here.
We sat in the tent most of the day. Hafsah didn't sleep all day. We prayed Isha and then slept. The brothers came back safely from stoning, Alhamdulillah. My husband is still stoning on my behalf, Masha-Allah. I was told that 50 people died at the Jamarats the day before. Inna lil lahi wa inna lil lahi rajioon.
